“Bookish Boyfriends”
Bookish Boyfriends:
A Date with Darcy
By: Tiffany Schmidt
“Bookish Boyfriends” is an excellent book.
Definitely recommend as an easy beach read. Chick-flick, rom-com type.
I think this book is for 13 and up. No spicy scenes just some making out at most (Depends on what you think is best for your kid).
My Synopsis: This book is about Merrilee Campbell who goes to an all girls school, and transfers to Hero Prep. She is an avid reader and dreams of love for herself. Hero Prep’s boys just so happen to look like all her book fantasies. Then a boy takes interest in her, and starts acting like her Romeo. Merrilee soon draws parallels in her own love life and “Romeo and Juliet” with this boy. But maybe she doesn’t really know what kind of love she wants.
I rate this book a 3.7/5. It was dull at first, but as I read more I found myself not able to put it down. Some of the characters and their choices throughout the book were infuriating, but at the end it was an exceptional read. Definitely love a good ending!
